On the Floor is a new employee scheduling tool that allows employers to easily manage their staffing requirements. On the Floor consists of two main components: a back office web based application for managers to define locations, roles, employees and build/manage schedules. Also, a mobile application for employees that provides personal schedule information, available shifts and notifications such as specials, contests, etc. Mobile application features: Provides On the go access to work schedules for employees Provides employees immediate visibility to available shifts via the Job Bank Provides employees the ability to request an entry from the Job Bank or to initiate a Shift Change Request Back Office application features: Provides ability to manage schedules across multiple locations. Employees may be associated to a single location or multiples if they work at different locations within the company. Ability to define the staffing roles within their organization and then use these roles to define the skillsets needed in a given shift. To simplify the schedule management, a variety of copy features allow past schedules to be used a basis of a new week. This may include copying all employees in the schedule, only employees marked as having a static schedule, or no employees. NOTE: This application uses location services. This app is intended for individuals with an On the Floor account. If your employer uses On the Floor, you will be sent an account activation email with User & Password information. Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
